This was the point when the Pelin Sportsfisher really became Phil and Margo’s unique customised Challenger.  The second cabin disappeared, trunk cabin top added over the focsle and head, saloon cabin lengthened, bought forward and a hold added fore of the engine room. The flybridge was done away with, the saloon roof given a ‘duckbill’ and lengthened over the cockpit, among the many customisations.

The visible structural timbers throughout the interior and the struggle over spray or brushed paintwork which was won by the brush keep a ‘this is a timber boat’ feel even though painted surfaces will be throughout with only highlights of clear timber.

Most recently work began on the window templates.  Life is always a juggle - Phil determined to have a parallel slider beside the helm, Margo determined to have the rear window follow the curve from the bow - but we think we’re almost there???

An overall perspective of where ‘Mutual Attraction’ is currently (April 2014).  No backyard job here, that’s the front door she’s blocking out and we think her a beautiful sight to come up the driveway to on a daily basis.
