| Red gum burl grit blasted on top edge to remove sap, oxidation and bark from edges. | Duct tape applied to back to edge to prevent POG running away where holes go through. |
Place burl on level surface to fill holes in top face. |

Fill holes using a syringe with a draw up needle for small holes. Pour into larger holes. |
Work on one area at a time. When holes almost full, use an open flame to burst bubbles. |
Remove the support and duct tape from the underside of burl. |

| Course sand 40 to 60 grit both faces using a belt sander or random orbital sander to remove lumps & bumps and all gloss. | Fill all holes and hollows around the edge using the techniques shown. | Fill all holes and hollows around the edge using the techniques shown. |
